Janelle Monáe has released her fourth studio album, titled THE AGE OF PLEASURE, which is her first album since Dirty Computer in 2018. In an interview, Monáe expressed that she wanted to create music for the lifestyle of the people she met at an Everyday People Wondaland party. She also mentioned that this album is a reflection of her true self, and she wants to showcase all aspects of her personality.
The album features 14 songs, including the singles “Float” and “Lipstick Lover,” and collaborations with artists such as Grace Jones, Nia Long, Doechii, CKay, Seun Kuti, Amaarae, and Egypt 80.
